The rules and regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events only. They are to establish minimum acceptable requirement for such events. No expressed or implied guarantee of safety shall result from publication of, or compliance with these rules and /or regulations. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to participants. Any and all photographs shot at the racetrack or by track photographer will remain the property of the photographer and racetrack, which may be used for promotional purposes or any other purpose deemed suitable by the photographer and the racetrack.
1. Track management reserves the right to refuse entry to any car, driver or crewmember to the pit area or the grandstand.
2. Anyone entering the pit area must read and sign a release absolving track owners and officials of any safety liability. Enter the pits at your own risk.
3. Children age 11 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to enter the pit area. Parents must sign a release form for children aged 12 to 16.
BODY
1. Bodies may be Tempo, Cavalier, Mustang II, Daytona, Gremlin, Etc... American compact cars only. No panel vans, station wagons, and all other cars must have front and rear window area open. Must be full size roof. Rear side window must be either open or clear. Should be stock appearing. Stock appearing front windshield and rear window support unit. Front window support may have clear lexan support of no more than 4" at bottom going straight up to top.
2. Original roofline of vehicle should be maintained with a maximum 1" drop rear to front. No wings or any other ground effect allowed inside or outside of car. 3. Engine compartment will remain open. No side panels. Hood sides may have a maximum 4" drop and must be enclosed at rear of hood. Bodies should extend no further than back of block. Both side windows must have minimum 12" vertical opening from front to back.
4. Front bumper must be mounted frame end to frame end, with the bottom loop parallel to the ground. Minimum 1 1/2" pipe able to support car if lifted by wrecker. Rear bumpers may be constructed of pipe or flat stock and must protect fuel cell. Center of bumpers must be 18" from ground. (2" tolerance) Rear bumpers, nerf bars, and bodies must not extend beyond width of rear tires, and must no contain any sharp edges.

6. Nose spoilers allowed, mounted to nose panel only. Spoiler may not exceed 4" tall x 40" in length and run parallel to frame rails
SUSPENSION
1. Factory production full 1950 or newer parallel American passenger car frames only. Frames may be cut in rear only at point not farther than 36" from center of rear end housing.
2. Frames may not be widened or narrowed, and must be able to support roll cage on both sides. Must be full and complete on both sides. Front cross member may be notched for radiator clearance only. Minimum frame and body height from ground is 4".
3. Front suspension must be O.E.M. and be in stock location. It also must be replaceable by stock part from same type suspension. Stock passenger car spindles only. No fabricated spindles. Bottom A-Frames cannot be altered or moved.
4. Tube type upper control arms are allowed and can be moved.
5. No coil over shocks of and kind allowed on the front of race car.
6. No Jeep, Bronco, 4-wheel drive, sports car, etc... frames allowed. No front wheel drives allowed.
7. Rear of frame may be altered to accept leaf or coil springs. Any coil spring must be at least 4 1/2" outside diameter. No fiberglass springs,steel/aluminum coil over kits allowed or steel shocks, mist conform to shock and spring rules. . No fiberglass lift bars. No rear torsion bars or sway bars. Coil-over kits allowed on the lift bar must conform to shock and spring rules.
8. No hydraulic, ratchet or electric weight jacks anywhere in or on car.
9. One shock per wheel only. Additional shock in other locations allowed.
10. Minimum wheelbase 108". Maximum wheelbase 112". No front clips or tube clips allowed. No aluminum, fiberglass, or exotic metal suspension or rear end parts allowed. No aluminum drive shafts.
11. Steering must be O.E.M. No rack and pinion steering. Must remain within original bolt pattern for type of frame used. In cockpit steering may be modified to suit driver but be on left side of cockpit. No center steering.
12. No aluminum shells, hubs, A- frames, spindles, or any other suspension parts. No aluminum heim joints. All calipers must be O.E.M..
DRIVE TRAIN
1. No direct drives are allowed. Transmissions must be bolted to engine. Must have forward and reverse gears. Must be able to shift to forward or reverse with engine running. BERT and BRINN type transmissions are allowed.
2. Clutch type transmissions must be equipped with an explosion proof steel bell housing. If an explosion proof bell housing is not available for your engine, or if you prefer, you may construct a shield of at least 1/2x6" steel covering the clutch area 360 degrees, and be securely fastened.
3. Any passenger car or truck type rear end may be used. No aluminum allowed except for lowering blocks, axle caps and drive plates. Quick-change devises are allowed.
ENGINES
1. Maximum allowable displacement is 365 cubic inches.
2. No aluminum blocks allowed.
3. Any American made engine may be used as long as rear of engine (bell housing flange) is mounted at least 72" forward from the center line of rear axle. Engine offset must be kept within 2" of centerline of front cross member. Engine height minimum 11" from ground to front center of crankshaft.
4. No titanium or other exotic material, crankshafts or connecting rods allowed. Steel rods and crankshafts are the only acceptable material. There must be an inspection hole, minimum 1-inch diameter, in the oil pan for rod & crank inspection. No inspection hole means that the Team concerned must be prepared to pull the oil pan to allow checking by the Inspector. Refusal to comply with all reasonable inspection requests will cause the car to be deemed illegal and disqualified.
5. Factory valve angle/cast iron heads only. Heads may be angle milled. Valve to piston angle cannot be changed more than 3 degrees from factory angle. No raised runner heads. Intake floor cannot exceed 3/8" from fire deck at entrance of the intake port. Angle plugs are allowed. Max Valve sizes allowed: 2.080" Intake 1.625" Exhaust.
6. No porting or polishing of cylinder heads. Block and heads may be deburred to help oil flow only. Intake ports may be port matched 1/2" Max. Exhaust must remain as casted. Bowl blend l &1/2" from bottom of seat.
7. No external oil pumps allowed.
8. No oil coolers.
9. No dry sump oil systems.
10. Single carburetor only. Top may be milled only.
11. Roller rockers allowed.
12. Any flat tappet camshaft allowed. No roller cams allowed.
13. Rocker studs maybe pinned or screw-in type with push rod guide plates.
14. Stud girdles allowed. Poly locks allowed.
15. Aluminum Intake manifold allowed. May be port matched 1/2" max.
16. Flat-top pistons only.
17. No Magnetos. WEIGHT Minimum weight 2350 lbs. With driver after race. 8"max. Spoiler.
FUEL SYSTEM
1. Fuel may be gasoline or alcohol.
2. All cars must have fuel cells. 32 gallon max in completely enclosed steel container. All cells are to have a min, of two 2"xl/8" steel straps surrounding them. Fuel cell must be protected in rear of axle by securely mounted roll cage tubing. No part of fuel cell can be lower than protective tubing.
3. No electric fuel pumps.

ROLL CAGE
Rollcage must be provided as to general specifications.
TIRES/WHEELS
1. Wheels must be 8 inch steel and bead lock wheels allowed.
2. Maximum overall width (front or rear) shall not exceed 78" from outside of tread to outside of tread.
3. Hoosier Medium or American Racer medium 8" tire.
RADIOS
Radios or other two-way communication or listening devices are allowed.
