Congratulations going out to the driver of the 51 open wheel modified-Jeffrey Tyndall as he picks up the big bonus from Hammerdown and Dublin speedways by winning Friday and Saturday nights events. Mike Beasley out of Fayetteville battled Tyndall side by side for the first few laps until the Autryville native pulled away for the win. 11 open wheel modifieds took the green flag tonight.
In the Super Late model race, Shawn Beasley captured the win over Carl Sherwood and Jimmy Edwards, Jr. The win sets up Beasley for a possible big pay day next Friday night at Dublin, if he can win next Friday, the Raeford rocket will pocket an extra $1,000.00 bonus money from Hmmrdwn and DMS. 12 SLM entered tonight's show.
In the Super Stocks, Danny Yarborough captured win number 2 of 2008 over Scott Patterson. Yarborough is now eligible for his share of the bonus if he wins next Friday night also. The Young Guns winner tonight was a first time winner- Jordan Tyndall, following his father's footsteps, picked up his first carrer win. Quite a night for the racing Tyndall family out of Autryville. In the U-car class, 15 cars took the green as Abe Woodard held off Colten Beasley for the win. The 270 sprint car winner tonight was Nick Jordan and in the 600 sprint car class, William Trodgen took home win number 2 in 08' over Michael Weeks.
